How we get the match right
Every car’s paint is a little different from the color code on the door jamb. Sun, age, and the original factory batch all change it. Our computerized paint-matching system reads the color that’s actually on your car and mixes to that, not just to the code.
Prep is most of the job
The part you don’t see matters most. Sanding, filling, priming, and masking are what make the finish lie flat and last. Rushing that step is why cheap paint jobs peel.
Blending
On most repairs we blend the new color a little way into the panels next to the one we fixed. It’s more work, but it means your eye doesn’t catch a line between old paint and new.
